PORTSMOUTH — City officials announced trick-or-treat has been rescheduled to 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, in Portsmouth. The change is due to the storm in the forecast for Thursday, Oct. 30, the original planned date.

The Portsmouth Police Department reminds everyone to watch out for trick-or-treaters and the increased traffic on the roads that evening.

Other Halloween events in Portsmouth this week include:

Senior Activity Center Halloween Party: On Friday, Oct. 31, from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Senior Activity Center (125 Cottage St.). Come dressed in costume, festive Halloween, or autumn attire. Entertainer Rockin’ Randy Hawkes will play fun tunes. The Senior Activity Center will provide treats. Ages 50-plus welcome. This event is free; no reservation is required.
