Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services has scheduled more flu vaccine clinics.
Walk-in clinics are available:
3:30-6:30 p.m. Oct. 28 at the First Christian Church Friendship Building, at 120 N. Rollins St. in Centralia; and
3-6 p.m. Oct. 30 at the Columbia Public Library, 100 W. Broadway, in Columbia.
The updated flu vaccine will be available to all residents with or without insurance, PHHS said. A high-dose shot also is available for those aged 65 and older. Those paying out-of-pocket can expect to pay $40 for the flu shot or $85 for the high-dose shot.
Residents six months and older with insurance also can receive the COVID-19 vaccine at these clinics as well. PHHS is working with the state to secure the vaccine for those without insurance. Those paying out-of-pocket
