In years to come they'll be puzzling over what exactly caused its extinction. Was it an asteroid? Climate change? Poor diet?
Allow me to save them the effort.
The demise of the Barnasaurus was no mystery. It failed to adapt to a changing world. It presumed it could go on doing what it had always done and somehow survive. Not for this creature's evolution. More devolution as it wandered off in the direction of One Nation, blinded by the Farage mirage and its false promise of resentful populism because some nicotine-stained loudmouth on the other side of the world had enjoyed a bump in the opinion polls.
The Barnasaurus ignored the signs that were always there. The rambling word salads. The office bonking. The awkward constitution which made him ineligible to sit in the Parliament because
