Wilmington horror director Ti West and actor Johnny Depp are reportedly set to team up for "Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol," a makeover of the famous Charles Dickens tale.

Deadline reported that Paramount is nearing an agreement to move forward with "Ebenezer." West is set to direct and Depp would star as Ebenezer Scrooge in the movie the studio has set for Nov. 13, 2026.

Nathaniel Halpern wrote the script and Emma Watts is the producer, per the report.
