The University of Georgia College of Pharmacy will host its 23rd annual health fair called Pharmtoberfest Tuesday.

One of UGA’s largest health fairs, Pharmtoberfest, will offer health screenings and flu shots as well as several health awareness booths on Tuesday. The event will take place outside of the UGA pharmacy building on D.W. Brooks Lawn from 11am to 2pm. All are welcome.

Those interested in getting a flu shot at the event should bring their health insurance cards. UGA employees and students will be able to receive the flu shot with no out of pocket cost.

Mayor Kelly Girtz is scheduled to be in attendance to read a proclamation recognizing American Pharmacists Month.
