Srinagar, Oct 27: The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly is set to witness a busy session on Monday, with as many as 41 private member bills listed for introduction.
According to the Assembly’s business schedule, the day has been reserved for private member bills, covering a wide range of issues from governance reforms to social concerns.
Among the key bills on the agenda are the proposed liquor ban bill, a bill for the constitution of a Lokayukta, the regularisation of daily wagers, and the establishment of a legislative forum for monitoring and protection of human rights in Jammu and Kashmir.
