For the first time, a cockroach, which was found by an Air India passenger in the Delhi-Dubai flight, was “hanged until death".
According to a report by Gulf News, an Air India maintenance log entry revealed by a journalist stated that the incident took place on Air India flight AI 315 on October 24 when a traveler discovered a live cockroach in the cabin during the journey.
Aircraft maintenance logs are documents in which crew members record any irregularities or defects observed during flights. Mostly, these entries detail technical malfunctions or equipment issued and reports about pests are not entirely uncommon.
However, the way the matter was handled in the recent situation became viral on social media.
