4ALLENTOWN, PA – Classes came to an abrupt halt Monday morning when a bomb threat forced William Allen High School into lockdown shortly after 11 a.m.
The Allentown Police Department, joined by city fire and EMS crews, responded to the school following a report of a possible explosive device on campus.
Students and staff were placed under lockdown as officers and K-9 units swept the building and nearby grounds.
