Melodee and her mom, Ashlee Buzzard, allegedly went on a three-day road trip, but Ashlee returned home without Melodee on Oct. 10

Melodee Buzzard is a 9-year-old girl from Lompoc, Calif., who has not been seen since Oct. 7.

After Melodee hadn't been seen by school officials for a prolonged period, she was reported missing on Oct. 14, according to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office . When officers checked in at her home, they found her mother, Ashlee Buzzard , but Melodee was nowhere to be seen. Ashlee had allegedly also not provided a "clear explanation" of Melodee's whereabouts.
