LANSING — A man who was found unconscious along the Lansing River Trail on Oct. 14 has died, and police said they are investigating his death as suspicious.

The man, who family members identified as Gino Chouinard, 54, died on Monday, Oct. 27, Lansing police said.

Police were asking that anyone with information about what happened to him contact them at (517) 483-4600.

Officers were called to the 300 block of East Oakland Avenue about 7:45 a.m. Oct. 14 and found the victim unconscious.
