Evidence began Monday in a hearing to determine if four Calgarians will stand trial for manslaughter in connection with a deadly home-invasion robbery.
And the lawyers for all four accused told Justice Karim Jivraj that they will be contesting whether their clients should be committed to stand trial when their preliminary inquiry concludes next week.
Before beginning to hear evidence in the hearing, the Calgary Court of Justice judge ordered a publication ban on the testimony of witnesses.
