WILMINGTON ISLAND, Ga. (WSAV) — Police are investigating a homicide in the 100 block of Oyster Shell Rd. on Wilmington Island, officials announced Monday.

A Chatham County Police Department spokesperson said the investigation is in the very early stages, but it appears that the parties involved were known to each other.
