BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) - Baton Rouge native and Grambling State University quarterback C'zavian Teasett is in good spirits as he remains hospitalized in Las Vegas.
Teasett was injured in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s Las Vegas HBCU Classic.
On Monday, Grambling coach Mickey Joseph provided an update on Teasett's injury.
"He's responsive, he's in good spirits. Out of respect for his family, they're gonna keep everything tight to the vest, and that's their prerogative, " said Joseph.
Before transferring to Grambling, Teasett played for Southern University.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with C’zavian as he continues to recover,” said Grambling State University President Martin Lemelle Jr. “Moments like these remind us that football is more than a game — it’s a brotherhood
