The God of War series and IP is undoubtedly one of the most valuable that PlayStation has, and so it's not surprising to hear that they are working on several ways of capitalising on that popularity with the player base.

Those include, at the very least, an adaptation set to debut on Prime Video and a 2D Metroidvania title set in the original Greece that made the series famous in the first place.

Those weren't the only projects in development though, and one cancellation has caused a very mixed response in the community.

As first reported by MP1st, they shared a look at a cancelled God of War multiplayer title that was in development at Bluepoint Games. That game also took us back to Ancient Greece, with several characters including Hades, also set to supposedly feature.
