Emilie Kiser isn’t sugar coating her emotions.
Five months after her and husband Brady Kiser’s son Trigg Kiser died following an accidental drowning in their family’s pool , the TikTok influencer shared how she’s dealing with her complex range of feelings in the wake of the tragedy.
“I just got out of a 2 hour long counseling session (longest I have ever done) and it was heavy but also so helpful,” she wrote in a post on her Instagram Stories Oct. 24. “We talked about so many things, but one of them being overall emotions and the guilt of sometimes having them.”
The 26-year-old — who also shares son Theodore Kiser, 6 months, with Brady — explained that she found it particularly challenging to allow herself to feel positive emotions amid her grief.
