PITTSBURGH, Pa. (BLACK AND GOLD NATION) - The Steelers defense was disappointing in Sunday's 35-25 loss to Green Bay. The unit suffered another blow on Monday regarding defensive tackle Daniel Ekuale's injury that he suffered.

Ekuale tore his ACL, according to NFL insiders Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport. His injury depletes some of the depth of Pittsburgh's defensive line, which is already operating without defensive tackle Isaiahh Loudermilk.

Ekuale has been used just as a rotational piece this season, but was effective for Pittsburgh. The seven-year veteran has recorded six tackles, one quarterback hit and a pass deflection in seven games.

Pittsburgh will need its defensive line to step up significantly against Jonathan Taylor and the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. Taylor leads the NFL
