INDIANAPOLIS — James Taylor and Brooke Aders-Taylor want to expand their family.
When they decided to use a surrogate, they said they did everything by the book to ensure a successful journey.
The couple went through an agency, and they hired their own lawyer to handle the agreements.
However, the business relationship soured, teaching the couple some difficult lessons about surrogacy in Indiana.
Aders-Taylor’s red dress first caught the attention of her future husband at a wedding.
After dating and a set of "I do's," they began trying for kids.
"I think from the first moment we met, we talked about having kids and what that looked like," Aders-Taylor said, "so building a family beyond our kitty cat was something I think we always wanted to do."
