GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WITN) - Police are looking into a case of possible child abuse after a boy died at a Greenville hospital.
Investigators were called to UNC Health Wayne on October 16 for a possible child abuse report. They found the victim was a 5-year-old boy.
He was transferred to ECU Health in Greenville for treatment, but police say he later died from his injuries.
On October 24, investigators got a warrant for 30-year-old Kenneth Robinson Jr for murder. He was arrested on October 27 by Goldsboro police in the 1400 block of Wayne Memorial Drive.
Officials say Robinson was served on his outstanding warrant and booked into the Wayne County jail.
