The purpose of Breast Cancer Awareness Month is to encourage early testing, which can be a life-saving measure for many women.
On Monday afternoon, Senator Amy Klobuchar teamed up with Florida Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz to host a virtual event focused on breast cancer awareness. Both women are breast cancer survivors and emphasized the importance of early detection.
