Daylight saving time 2025 is coming to an end, and with it, the beginning of standard time.
Twice a year, people throughout the country adjust their clocks, first “springing” ahead to cherish an extra hour of daylight during the summer months before “falling back” to standard time for winter.
On Nov. 2, Americans participating in the clock-changing tradition will “fall back,” one hour from 2 a.m. to 1 a.m.
DST will start again on Sunday, March 8, 2026.

According to The Old Farmer’s Almanac , the reason behind clock shifts is to make better use of natural daylight.
