NORTH SIOUX CITY, S.D. (KCAU) — Reconstruction of Northshore Drive in North Sioux City isn't expected to begin until Spring 2026, but preparation for that major rebuild continues.

Just three of more than 40 easements needed for the project remain outstanding. City officials said the property will be used for upgraded utilities as well as new sidewalks.

Mayor Chris Bogenrief said with the attention the recently completed Penrose Drive project got from contractors, it's important to keep the Northshore project on schedule.
