LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - With the No. 13 Texas Tech Red Raiders (7-1, 4-1) back in the win column, they now shift their attention to Kansas State (4-4, 3-1)- a team they haven’t beaten in the last eight tries, in a place they haven’t won since 2008. Head football coach Joey McGuire says he’s heard enough.

“We’re not going to concern ourselves with the history of what has been there or here. This is an entirely different team. If you think about it, the majority of this team has never played K-State,” he said. “We didn’t play them last year, so you’ve got to go back to two years ago... I don’t think Jacob Rodriguez played in that game. I think he was still out, so there’s not a lot of guys that have played K-State in a Red Raider uniform.”
