LENOIR, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Caldwell County has named the Blowing Rock town manager as its chief executive.

The Caldwell County Board of Commissioners proudly announces the appointment of Shane Fox as the county’s new manager, effective Dec. 1. County leaders say Fox brings a depth of experience spanning executive leadership, financial management and regional collaboration across North Carolina.

Fox currently serves as the town manager for Blowing Rock, where he’s been responsible for leading daily operations and executing the town council’s strategic vision. Prior to this, he served as Alexander County’s county manager, leading comprehensive efforts to ensure efficient service delivery and fiscal sustainability.
