PARRISH, Fla. (WWSB) - There’s a program at Parrish Community High School for those who want to go into the automotive industry.
For all four years, students get hands-on training at the Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair Program so they’re ready for a job as soon as they graduate.
“I love vehicles personally. I like working on them,” Bryce Santoro, a 10th grader said over the din of drills and compressors in the garage. “It’s fun for me, and overall, I like knowing about what vehicles I own and stuff.”
This isn’t just a singular class inside Parrish Community High School. During the four-year-curriculum, students will learn basics like identifying parts, all the way to computer advanced diagnostics and customer service.
