TUSCALOOSA, Ala. ( WBRC ) - WBRC has the latest on the arrest of a Tuscaloosa County commissioner .

Commissioner Reginald Murray faces resisting arrest and two other charges following the incident.

A video of Murray’s arrest has circulated social media and the man who filmed it is also facing charges, but he says there is more to the confrontation. He’s sharing his story.

Germaine Brown says much like Murray, he too, wanted to get inside the school auditorium at Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School to see the Honors Day awards program.

Brown also shared that he feels the officer’s reaction to Murray wanting to get inside was way over the top.

Brown says he had no connection to Murray before the incident. Both just happened to arrive at the same time, minutes after the Honor
