ARP, Texas — Arp Independent School District is planning for the future with a proposal to upgrade classrooms, improve campus safety, and modernize facilities across the district. A $9.9 million bond will appear on the November ballot, and district leaders say the plan will bring significant improvements without raising the district’s property tax rate.
Superintendent Shannon Arrington said the proposal is a key step toward supporting students and staff as the district continues to grow.
“This is going to be a game changer for our students,” Arrington said. “We’ve been able to pay off some existing bonds early, saving our community over half a million dollars in interest."
If approved, the bond will be split into two propositions:
