Cincinnati Public Schools superintendent Shauna Murphy is set to deliver the annual State of the Schools address on Tuesday night.

Murphy’s address will begin at 6 p.m. at the School for Creative and Performing Arts on W. Central Parkway. Registration for the event is closed but the event can be seen live on the district’s Facebook page. Advertisement

The address comes amid a year of significant change for Cincinnati Public Schools, with many coming in response to a $90 million budget gap created by the end of federal COVID-19 funding.

One of the most notable shifts is the addition of five new standalone middle and junior high schools, giving CPS a total of six.
