For more than ten years, Conrad, an elderly Beagle, endured a life filled with cruelty and disregard.

When he was finally discovered at a California shelter, his condition was heartbreaking. Thin, frail, and withdrawn, Conrad barely resembled the cheerful dog he was meant to be. His teeth were rotting, his skin dry, and his eyes filled with sadness.
