SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Monday afternoon was a cloudy, cool, and breezy one for most of the area.

High temperatures topped out in the lower to middle 60s. A few of our southern communities were able to warm into the lower 70s though.

VIPIR Radar was tracking some areas of moderate to heavy rain throughout the day. Radar estimates indicate that most of the area received less than a half of an inch of rain.

Rain chances will not go away all together over the next couple of days, but will be very low. Most locations will remain dry.

Tuesday will start out with morning lows in the 50s. The afternoon will only warm into the lower 60s with a mainly cloudy sky. A few passing showers are possible mainly early in the day.
