ITANAGAR, Oct 27: The Arunachal Pradesh State Health Society (NCVBDC-National Center for Vector Borne Diseases Control) organized a one-day sensitization meeting for 16 malaria-free districts on ‘Preparation of District Dossiers for Sub-National Malaria Elimination verification’ in a city hotel at Naharlagun today.
The meeting aimed to orient district officials on procedures and technical requirements for achieving district certification under the Sub-National Malaria Elimination Programme, aligning with the national goal of a Malaria-Free India by 2030.
The event was graced by Dr Marbom Basar (DHS), Marge Sora (MD, NHM), Dr Kalpana Baruah (National Senior Consultant, NCVBDC, GoI), Dr Soumyadeep Chaudhuri (WHO-India), and Dr K T Mulung (DDHS-cum-SPO, NCVBDC).
