Google grant will support Lincoln research center

The Allen County Public Library has received a $35,000 grant from Google to fund upgrades to the immersive projection experience inside the Rolland Center for Lincoln Research at the main library downtown, officials announced Monday.

The Rolland Center invites visitors to step inside large-scale historical and cultural images, surrounding them with projected visuals that bring the past to life. The grant will pay for new hardware that will support the visitor experience, according to a news release.
