The Farmers’ Market bathroom is getting a makeover.
City council voted unanimously to renovate and extend the hours of the Farmers’ Market washroom months after public washroom access was identified as a key improvement needed within the River District.

In a staff report presented at Monday evening’s Owen Sound city council meeting, during the committee of the whole agenda, several options to improve downtown washroom infrastructure were tabled.
Options discussed ranged from porta-potties to high-tech self-cleaning standalone washrooms.
