MAINE, USA — The Maine Office of Cannabis Policy on Monday issued a mandatory recall for Yani adult-use vape cartridges produced by NorCO Outdoor Cannabis after tests found unsafe levels of the pesticide Chlorfenapyr .
The recall affects “Watermelon Chimera” live resin cartridges sold in 0.5-gram and 1-gram sizes at 21 retail stores across Maine between July 10 and Oct. 16, 2025. The affected batch number is 1A40D0300006145000011115 .
State officials said the recall follows a consumer complaint about an adverse health reaction. Testing of the reported batch confirmed the presence of Chlorfenapyr at levels considered unsafe for inhalation.
