SHREVEPORT, La. — Shreveport police are investigating a shooting that sent a man to the hospital late Monday night.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of Jewella and McAlpine streets. They located an adult male who had sustained a gunshot wound to the shoulder.

The victim was transported to a local hospital. Police say his injuries are considered non-life-threatening.

No arrests of been made as the investigation continues.
