Yogi Berra may have been right: It’s déjà vu all over again.

In Seattle, Blue Jays ’ George Springer was injured and some fans seemed to cheer. In Los Angeles, Springer is injured again, and there appeared to be some cheers.

The injury came in the top of the seventh inning of Game 3 of the World Series , on a seemingly normal swing from Springer. Immediately afterward, he grabbed his right oblique, called for the Blue Jays’ trainer and removed himself from the game.

On the broadcast, fans seemed to be cheering.

In the championship series against the Seattle Mariners, Springer was hit by a pitch in the knee in Game 5 and removed from the game
