Shohei Ohtani has inspired the LA Dodgers once more in their chase of a second straight World Series title, smoking a pair of home runs in a blockbuster Game 3 against the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday night in America.
The 31-year-old Japanese superstar bombed his two shots over the fence at the bottom of the third and seventh innings respectively, with the latter tying the score at 5-5 heading into the eighth.
His home runs make him the first player to ever record three multi-homer games in single MLB post-season.
Additionally, Ohtani is the first player since 1906 with four extra base hits in a World Series game. The three time MVP is currently on a $700 million deal across 10 years.
