ABINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WPVI) -- Residents in the Ardsley-North Hills section of Abington Township say someone has been deliberately scattering screws in their driveways, and some homes have been targeted more than once since at least last Thursday night.

Kevin Shearn said he discovered a handful of loose screws in his driveway overnight Thursday into Friday.

"I'm very upset. I think it's horrible, it should not happen," Shearn said. "It's just getting out of hand and we don't need this, so whoever is doing it, please stop."

Other neighbors reported similar findings.

"I ended up finding 25 all total," said Charles Monaghan.

Eileen Duffy said she found about seven to eight screws.
