ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - In one of their toughest games of the season this past Friday night, the ASH Trojans rallied from 18 points down to defeat Ruston 45-28 to secure their seventh win of the season.
“I don’t think our kids lack confidence; they know what they’re capable of,” ASH Football head coach Thomas Bachman said. “It can propel you forward, but we’re going to be in another big one here in a couple of days.”
At one point, the Trojans scored 31 consecutive points that led to the eventual win. ASH now sits at #5 in the LSWA’s Class 5A Power Rankings and #3 in the Division I Select Power Rankings.
Trojans quarterback Karsen Sellers had his second straight huge game against the Bearcats’ defense, tossing for 113 yards and four touchdowns.
