DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver Police Department is investigating after an officer and a suspect were injured in an incident at a gas station near Interstate 225 on Monday night.

The incident was reported in the 3200 block of South Parker Road, which is near the Nine Mile RTD station and near I-225.

Details about the shooting were sparse as of 9:44 p.m. The police department said that an officer and a suspect were injured, but details of those injuries were unknown.

FOX31 has crews at the scene on Parker Road, where a gas station is entirely taped off for the police investigation, and multiple police cars were on scene.
