Dr. Ricaredo P. Suyao (Dr. Ric) passed away peacefully in Clearwater, FL on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, surrounded by family.

He was born in Iloilo, Philippines on October 30, 1937 to Calixto and Felipa Suyao.

He received his undergraduate degree at the University of the Philippines in Iloilo and his Doctorate in Medicine at the University of the East in Manila in 1963. He practiced medicine in Iloilo following graduation and went to the United States in 1964 to further his medical and surgical training in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, where he met and married Rosario, his wife of 58 years.
