Former LSU Tigers head coach Ed Orgeron reportedly wants the coaching gig at Oregon State, as the school has an opening and could use a leader to take them in a new direction.
Orgeron won a National Title with LSU, though the team eventually moved on to Brian Kelly, who was recently fired during his fourth season at the helm.

Since he left LSU, Orgeron has not taken another job.. He told On3 Sports recently that he does want to coach again, taking on any role needed if it means being in a competitive program.
“I'm not gonna take anything, and not everybody's gonna take me. So, it may be a head coach job. It may be a defensive line job with someone that I believe can win a championship....I'm a champion
