ABERDEEN, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -Northern State hosted MSU Moorhead for the final night home game on Saturday
The Wolves beat the Dragons with an overtime touchdown, and stop on a 2 point conversion for a dramatic 49-48 win.
The last time these two teams matched up was in 2023, where MSU Moorhead beat NSU handily.
But this is different Wolves team.
Mike Schmidt said, “Because our program was at a big time low after that loss a couple of years ago and we rebuilt this whole thing and to come back with that crew that we had to face with everyone out. We had two All-Americans that are just out on defense. For our offense, to have 700 yards of offense, 647 yards of offense is unbelievable. We’ll go back to the drawing board and we’ll give our best effort next week down in Sioux Falls.”
