Police Seek Driver in Fatal Century City Hit-and-Run That Killed 73

Detectives Say Victim Was Struck While Crossing Pico Boulevard in a Marked Crosswalk

Authorities are searching for the driver of a black Audi SUV involved in a fatal hit-and-run that killed 73-year-old grandmother of five, Rima Manuchary, near Century City on Friday evening, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The collision occurred around 5 p.m. at the intersection of Pico Boulevard and Fox Hills Drive, where investigators said the woman was walking southbound in a marked crosswalk when she was struck by a 2011–2018 Audi Q3 traveling westbound.

Paramedics arrived within minutes but pronounced the woman dead at the scene. The driver did not stop and continued westbound on Pico Boulevard, police said.

Detectives from the LAPD’s West Traffic Division are leading the investiga
