Delhi Minister Ravinder Indraj Singh on Tuesday praised the government’s arrangements for the Chhath Puja celebrations in the national capital.
He said the Delhi government has fulfilled its promise by organising the festival after taking oath and performing aarti on the banks of the Yamuna.
“Immediately after we took the oath at Raamleela Ground, we performed aarti here to seek the blessings of Mother Yamuna and also took an oath that this time Chhath Puja would be held on the banks of Yamuna… The Delhi government has fulfilled its promise,” Ravinder Indraj Singh told ANI.
