Who will accept responsibility for our ash dieback catastrophe?

I recently had to have nearly 30 beautiful old roadside trees removed, at great cost – and someone has failed to do their job properly and prevent this disease

Following the diagnosis of ash dieback in my roadside trees earlier this year, the day of reckoning eventually arrived this month.

In just a few days nearly 30 beautiful ash trees which had taken many centuries to grow lay sprawling on the ground, like a row of fallen soldiers who had faithfully stood guard over my farm for generations.
