Paschim Medinipur (West Bengal) [India], October 28 (ANI): Accusing the Trinamool Congress of opposing policies in the national interest, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dilip Ghosh on Tuesday expressed confidence in the Election Commission of India (ECI), stating that the body is doing its work without any partiality.
Ghosh noted that none of the political parties registered any official complaints with the ECI against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) and emphasised that no genuine voter's name can be removed from the electoral rolls.
"These people (TMC) voluntarily oppose anything that is in the national interest. But the Election Commission is conducting its work impartially. ECI said there was no complaint, no appeal against this. All parties helped, and everything happened,
