LOS ANGELES - Freddie Freeman hit a Brendon Little offering over the centre field fence in the 18th inning to give the Los Angeles Dodgers a 6-5 win and a 2-1 lead in the 2025 World Series on Monday night.
Freeman's hit, the 16th of the night for the defending champions, ended a six-hour-plus marathon at Dodger Stadium.
The victory was made possible by Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani, who had two home runs, two doubles, three RBIs and five walks, including four intentional.
