Game 3 of the World Series turned out to be a historic night for the MLB, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and Shohei Ohtani. It finally ended when 2024 World Series hero Freddie Freeman smashed a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 18th inning to give the Dodgers a thrilling 6-5 win over the Toronto Blue Jays.
The never-ending game was packed with drama and historic moments, and most of them involved Ohtani. The Dodgers’ superstar became the first player in MLB history to record three multi-homer games in a single postseason. He also intentionally walked four times, the most ever in a World Series game.
