For once, I actually agree with Paul Finebaum.

Finebaum, ESPN’s No. 1 SEC homer, appeared on “Get Up” on Monday morning after the firing of LSU coach Brian Kelly. Finebaum was asked about Lane Kiffin and, if the Ole Miss coach would leave Oxford, which opening should he choose.

“I don’t think there’s any question that of the jobs open,” Finebaum said , “LSU is going to be the one that everybody wants.”

I’ve disagreed with Finebaum in the past, particularly for his take last year that a three-loss SEC team deserved to make the CFP over one-loss Indiana. But on this point, I concur.

LSU is now the best job available, which means Penn State is not.
