Former Duke star Kyle Singler, who was named the Most Outstanding Player at the 2010 Men’s Final Four , has been arrested in Oklahoma.
The 37-year-old was arrested last week after police say he assaulted his girlfriend, according to News9 in Oklahoma City. He has since been released on bond.
Citing police, News9 reports that Kyle Singler was staying at an Airbnb with his girlfriend and their child. His girlfriend reportedly told police that Singler tried to rape her, grabbed her head and pushed her to the ground.
Mitch Dobbs with the Haskell County Sheriff’s Office told News9 that Singler’s girlfriend had marks on her face consistent with his handprint.
